Generation 5; Chapter 7

Center stage.05-23-15_3-27 PM-2This is where I belong.05-23-15_3-27 PM-3“As many of you guys remember, this is where I had my child-to-teen birthday party.  But whatever, I’m not here to talk about my sister’s unoriginality, I’m here to welcome her to teenhood.  I recently aged out of my teen years, but I remember them as if it were just yesterday.”

(Laughter ensues because my birthday was just yesterday.)

“Teenhood is a rollercoaster of emotions — mostly love and hate.  My only advice to you is avoid what you hate, find what you love, and pursue that with all of your heart.  Don’t try to be anyone else, or please anyone else.  Make yourself happy; do what you want to do.”

(Cue applause…and crying from Mom.)

“Okay, enough from me.  Where’s the birthday girl?!  Let’s get this party started!”

05-23-15_3-31 PM-2“Nope, I’m not going in there.  I don’t wanna age up yet.  I’ve only completed two childhood aspirations of mine…I still have things to do.  Let’s just go home.”05-23-15_3-32 PM“Honey, it doesn’t work like that.  Whether you go to your party or not, you’re going to age up today.  It’s a natural part of life!  Now, would you rather age up with or without cake…”05-23-15_3-31 PM-4“Cake.”

“That’s my girl.”

05-23-15_3-39 PM-2Finally.  The little brat showed up “fashionably late.”05-23-15_3-42 PMPfff — I — I can’t — ahahahaha!  I did want her to be more original.

05-23-15_3-46 PMEven in that ridiculous outfit, she didn’t hold my attention for long.  I caught this guy’s eye across the room, and decided to go over and introduce myself.

05-23-15_3-46 PM-2Maybe the rose petals were a bit of an over-kill…

05-23-15_3-47 PM-2Naaah, nah I’m good.  Hmm…he has a nice smile.

05-23-15_3-52 PM-2But I have a boyfriend.

For now.

      1. She’s so awesome! I love the way she looks (and acts) as a child, and now I’m so excited to see what she’s like as an individual with her own style teen! What trait did she roll? (or are you revealing that later?)

      2. Even Marce! It was her childhood trait. I don’t think her’s is a “general” cheerfulness, more of an enthusiasm for things she really enjoys, like music.

      3. Fryderyk’s the same way. For a Cheerful Sim, he’s pretty straight-faced all the time. The only time he gets really “cheerful” is when Gemma’s around. Once again, I think it’s more of a selective cheerfulness — an enthusiasm for certain things, not just general happiness. On the other hand, Hynden is “generally Cheerful.” She’s always smiling and gets excited about everything!
