Generation 5; Chapter 6

Today’s the day everything changes.

After today, there will be no more fighting with Hyn or arguing with Mom.  No more skipping school, no more potion abuse.

No more living at home, no more legacy life.  The only thing that awaits me is a future full of freedom and promise.

This calls for some serious celebration.  Lets party!

This is where things started to go downhill.“I guess now would be as good of a time as any to tell you…  Well, I bought a condo in Bridgeport!  I hope you don’t mind — I kind of took my inheritance early.  The boat leaves first thing in the morning.”“Marceline, tell me you’re joking.  This is just another one of your pranks, isn’t it?” “Marce, sweety, you can’t move to Bridgeport!  This is a legacy, and you’re the heiress.  All heirs and heiresses must live on the legacy lot.”

“I thought that’s what you had a spare for.” “Dad, I hope you realize, I–”

Suddenly, we were interrupted by screaming coming from the bar below.
